Malcom Ingram started Ingram Enterprises, Inc. in 1957, doing business as Ingram Drywall. The primary focus was residential drywall and finishing.

In 1978 the company was incorporated in the State of Florida as Ingram Enterprises, Inc. and has remained this name. Starting in the early 80's the company targeted more commercial projects than in the past. By the late 80's, the company's business base had shifted to almost exclusively commercial and governmental projects.

Gary Stout joined the company in 1987 and in 1993 purchased 100% of common stock from Malcom Ingram. Today the company does exclusively commercial   and governmental projects. Average annual volume ranges between $5.1M - $6.0M.
